History
Wongchuking was born on December 25, 1912.
Wong Chu King founded La Campana Fabrica de Tabacos, Inc. The company was incorporated with Ong Lowa, Baa Dy, and Ong Pay as partners of Wong Chu King.
The second factory of La Campana was constructed in Pasong Tamo, Makati.
Founder and Matriarch wedding (January 8, 1949)
Mr. Wong Chu King was able to buy the current head office site at 39 Sultana Street. He was able to buy an accumulated size of 1.7 hectares from company resources and borrowed money from relatives.
Wong Chu King was one of the founding donors of Xavier School when one of its founders went door-to-door in Manila for donations.

La Campana was able to buy the trademarks of Alhambra Industries. In the previous years, La Dicha, Rosalina, and Malaya brands were also sold to La Campana, which had practically cornered the Native Cigarette Industry.

Mighty Corporation started developing the Mighty Green and Mighty Red Soft packs.
Mighty Corporation acquired its first protos machine to increase productivity. Protos Machine - a combination of Feeder Unit (VE), a Rod Maker (SE), and a Filter Assembler (MAX). It was filtered with a revolutionary feature: the “Spider”, a transfer unit specially developed for Protos.
Mighty Corporation began to modernize its primary facilities by upgrading its whole Lamina and Stem lines from Kunming Shipbuilders in China. Lamina Direct Conditioning and Casing Cylinder: Loosens lamina by increasing heat, increasing moisture and casing
application to improve tenacity, processing durability and flavor.
60TH Anniversary of La Campana Fabrica de Tabacos.
Mighty Corporation purchased its first GD packing machine. GDX1-CH Cigarette Packing Machine - The entire working process from cigarette feeding to carton overwrapping is completed automatically. Without any manual contact. The settings of the machine operation, quality control, shift reporting, enhanced stoppage analysis, machine status, diagnosis and system calibration are achieved entirely digitally by the brand new MICRO-II system with integrated touch screens. The X1 soft packer line has the advantage that labels and stamps taken either from reels or from feed stacks in pre-cut form can be added.
